Resolution is a performance piece of a woman from another world who was wrong and now seeks closure. The core inspiration for Resolution was Kaneto Shindo’s 1988 film Kuroneko—the ghost of a woman who returns to enact revenge on her aggressors.

Taking on folk horror and mythical elements, these were combined to retell a story centered around femininity, trauma, and catharsis through movement and spatial storytelling. Spatial design was contrasted with the projection of a film that revealed mental and emotional states of the Woman.
